World Health Organisation on Friday 15th December held their 2023 annual surveillance and routine immunization progress, review/award meeting in collaboration with Anambra State ministry of health.

The epoch making event attracted many dignitaries including the amiable wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo, transition chairmen, and Commissioners.

Speaking at the event Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo highlighted the importance of healthy living and the need to promote effective health cares across the 21LGA, also encourage all health workers to keep maintaining their standard health services they render in the state.

The wife of the Governor Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo presented the award to Hon Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh (mmili Anaocha), as an outstanding mayor for his contributions, supports, steadfast and commitments towards expanding coats of health systems/services in Anaocha LGA.

Hon Gerald appreciates Dr Mrs Nonye Soludo for all her efforts, thanked Mr Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, for all the disruptive charges he is bringing on the board across all sectors in Anambra State, which he is reciprocating in the grassroots level at Anaocha LGA. He further expressed heartfelt gratitude to (W H O), for the great award and says it is a great motivation to do more for Ndi-Anaocha, promised never to go backwards in achieving a greater and quality standards health care system.
