Enugu South Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Caleb Ani, has sworn in Barr. Kenneth Nnyammah, as Secretary to the Local Government (SLG).
The swearing in which took place at the Council’s Secretariat was attended by some key government officials.
Nnyammah will bring to bear his wealth of experience and skills on the new assignment.
Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Caleb Ani, the Executive Chairman of Enugu South LGA, expressed confidence in Nnyammah’s ability to help drive the council’s progress.
He noted that SLG’s role required a person with deep understanding of the council’s operations and commitment to community growth, encouraging him to serve with integrity and dedication.
Hon. Ani emphasized that his position was essential in fostering cooperation within the council and with the public, underscoring the need for reliable leadership.
As the Secretary, Barr. Nnyammah will manage daily council operations, implement policy decisions, and ensure effective communication between the council and the community.

In his response, Barrister Nnyammah
expressed gratitude to the chairman and vowed to diligently discharge his duties.
He pledged to promote unity and transparency, working towards Enugu South’s continued development.
Present at the event are, the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Tony Egbo, Leader of the legislative Arm, Hon. John Okechukwu Egbo, and Council Legal Adviser, Barr. Emma Ani.
