Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Lagos residence on December 28.

Welcomed by the Nigerian leader and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, she arrived after leaving Abuja to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities.

Asisat, the reigning CAF Women’s Player of the Year with six awards, visited following her nomination for the Women’s Ballon d’Or for the second year, recognizing her exceptional performance in 2022.

She’s notably the African footballer with the most Player of the Year honors.
