Nri town celebrates much anticipated annual Agwu Festival. (Video)

The prominent Agwu festival one of the many festivities much anticipated by the Igbo people was celebrated with much pomp and pageantry in Nri, Anaocha LG of Anambra State on Sunday, June 23rd.

The annual festival which is celebrated to appease the god of rascality was without mincing words, colorful in every aspect. Comedian cum Information analyst Oraeki Charles Okwy, popularly known as Ogamaazi gave a detailed commentary about this year’s celebration, bringing into spotlight its relevance and other relating it to the ancient Igbo culture.
