See highlight of novelty match in honor of Late Pascal Obumneme Okeke in Nri (Video)

Nri in Anaocha Local Government area of Anambra state was on Thursday, 21st of March 2024, yet again show a love to their late football star, Pascal Obumneme Okeke, as they organize a novelty match to honor the late football star.

The match played at Regal secondary school field, was filled with friends who all turned up to pay their last respect to the young lad who died after a surgery on his thigh.

Late Obumeneme Okeke had accident few weeks back and a surgery was carried out but he later died after the surgery.

The event produced a match between friends of Benze based in Nri known as Team Benze and the Workers of FC of Agulu, it ended 3:2 in favour of Team Benze.

The novelty match was sponsored by the Regent of Nri kingdom, Prince Ikenna Onyesoh and the president general of the town union, Oba Romanus Okafor.

Highlight of the event was the signing of the match ball by some dignitaries present which was handed over to the bereaved family to keep.

Late Obumneme Okeke died at the age of 25, his death has thrown the whole community into mourning as the town lost a great football star. May his soul continue to rest in peace, amen.
