Yesterday, the Catholic Church in Nigeria observed its annual Corpus Christi, also known as Christ the King celebration. This event, typically held in November, serves as an annual reminder of God’s supremacy on earth.

The Catholic Churches in Nri, Anambra state, actively participated in this tradition, with all three parishes—St Mary’s Eucharistic Church, St Peter’s Catholic Church, and St Joseph Catholic Church—coming together in a grand celebration at Nrijiofor Primary School, Nri.

The event was a vibrant display of colors, and several schools in the community joined in with a lively march past, enhancing the overall festivity.
