CHAMPIONS OF NIGERIA!!

Delta State have now won the National Sports Festival a record NINE times, more than any state in Nigeria.

This is the fifth consecutive time that they are winning the title, underlining their status as the undisputed number 1 sports state in Nigeria.

Since Bauchi 2000 when they won their first title, they have only lost the Sports Festival title twice to: Edo in 2002, and Rivers state in 2011. They have now won nine of the eleven past editions of the Sports festival.
