MICSTREAMS PRODUCTION WELCOMES JOSEPH KITEMBO JR AS NEW EXECUTIVE PRODUCER FOR “STRANDED”

Washington, D.C.-born filmmaker Joseph Kitembo Jr. has officially joined the team as Executive Producer for the upcoming film project “Stranded” directed and produced by Nigerian filmmaker, Michael Chineme Ike. With a rich background in acting and filmmaking, Joseph brings a unique blend of talent and vision to the production.

Joseph is known for his work in films like “A Naughty Chrismess Story,” available on Tubi, and “Death Of The Author” on Amazon Prime. He has Congolese roots and currently resides in Hyattsville, Maryland, where his passion for storytelling has fueled his journey from actor to filmmaker. His goal is to produce films that explore cultural diversity and human connections.

“I’ve always loved being in front of the camera, but ultimately, the goal was to get behind the camera and start producing artistic works that resonate with audiences worldwide,” says Joseph. “I want to create stories that actually matter.”

As Executive Producer, Joseph’s commitment to the “Stranded” project goes beyond financial backing. He is also deeply involved in the film’s extensive promotion, reflecting his dedication to bringing meaningful stories to life.
