Many feared d€ad as building collapses in Onitsha (See details)

As seen on Facebook, at least six persons have been confirmed dead after a three story building collapsed at Ochanja market Fegge, Onitsha, Anambra state on Monday night, February 26.

The building still under construction, collapsed at about 8pm last night and according to report received, about 6 persons has been confirmed dead while others were rescued with various level of injuries.

Some of the workers at the site who escaped death gave an estimate of about 40-50 workers working on the site and with the calculation many is believed to still be trapped in the building.

What could be the cause of this, could it be reducing materials as a result of the high cost of materials in the market?

Details to the cause of the incident is yet to be identified as of when filing this report.
