JUST IN: Man Gets Arrested In Port Harcourt After Strangling Woman In Akwa Ibom

A suspect linked to the murder of Eket-based businesswoman Mrs. Juliana Dimaka has been apprehended by the Akwa Ibom Police.

Mrs. Dimaka, the owner of Testimony Supermarket on Grace Bill Street, was reportedly strangled at her home on October 17 around 8:00 p.m.

A reliable source at the Eket Divisional Police Station, speaking anonymously to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), confirmed the suspect’s arrest.

Detectives from the Akwa Ibom Command, investigating the murder, traced the suspect to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he had fled to avoid capture.

The source mentioned that the suspect was found in hiding at his friend’s apartment in Port Harcourt. Following the arrest, he was brought to Ikot Akpanbia in Uyo for further proceedings.
