Gov. Mbah To Pay JAMB Registration Fees For Students

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has approved the payment of UTME registration fees for students and applicants who could not obtain the current jamb forms now on sale due to financial constraints.

A statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Aka Eze Aka, said that the governor has directed that such indigent students should proceed to obtain the forms as quickly as possible, adding that the governor in his magnanimity has decided to write off the cost of procuring the forms.

The statement urges those who wish to obtain the forms to submit their names, Local Government Areas, Phone numbers and NIN to the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication, Enugu State through any of the following phone numbers: 0803 223 3251 or 0813 9047 710

According to the statement, the submission must be done on or before 20th February 2024.

The statement explains that applicants shall be given special codes thereafter for the online registration.

It equally explains that those who have already obtained the forms need not to apply since the state government shall pay directly to Jamb.
