Enugu North APC Leaders Declare Support For Mbah, Onoh

The leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State have declared support for Gov. Peter Mbah and the council chairman move to defect to the party.

The APC leaders gave the support on Monday during their courtesy call to the Chairman of the council, D. Ibenaku Onoh, to declare their support and willingness to work with Mbah and him as they join APC.

Speaking on behalf of the party leaders, Chief Benjamin Onoh, the Ward Chairman of Coal Camp Ward 6, noted that APC remained grateful to work with “a development-focused leaders” like Mbah and Onoh.

Onoh said that the APC members, drawn from the 13 political wards in the council area, were happy to associate with the outstanding performance of Mbah and Onoh in the state and local governments’ administration.

According to him, both leaders at the state and council levels in the state have performed exceptionally well in the areas of health, education, infrastructure and human capital development.

“Onoh is one of the best grassroots leaders to come from Enugu State, owing to his commitment in ushering in progress for the rural people and building infrastructure transforming rural communities to urban communities,” he said.

Responding, the chairman praised their unity and devotion to the growth of the party.

The council boss noted that merging the Renewed Hope Agenda with the Tomorrow Is Here mantra would bring exponential growth that would transform the state into one of the best in the world.

He extolled Gov. Mbah forthrightness to the people; adding that “Mbah always thinks about the future and the well-being of the entire state”.

The chairman also called for continuous support for Mbah, while urging for a spirit of camaraderie that would accommodate everybody in the party.

He further urged the party leaders to come out en masse on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, to officially receive Gov. Mbah, him, all political office holders, aides and all progressives (lovers of progress in the state).
