Anaocha TC Chairman, honored with Eminent personality award by ASATU.



The Transition Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area, Hon Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh (Mmili Anaocha) has been honored with Eminent Personality Award during Anambra State Association of Town Union(ASATU) General Assembly meeting/end of the year get together cum a date with Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachi Ibezim on Saturday, December 3,2023.

On behalf of the ASATU led by the National President , Chief Titus Akpudo, Ozoh received the award based on his track records , outstanding quality leadership, and worthwhile contributions towards the success, development of Anambra communities within Anaocha LGA and Anambra State at large.

Speaking after receiving the award, Hon Ozoh appreciated ASATU for the great honor and further acknowledged the paramount role the union has attributed in solution movement across the State.


Ozoh pledged unalloyed support to the union currently enjoying a robust cordial relations with the present state government adding that the Governor Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is giving every assistance to ASATU to enable her carry out her community development programmes.

The dignitaries present at the event were Mr. Deputy Governor Dr Onyekachi Ibezim, Hon Amaka Obi, Iyom Ifeabata, TC Chairman Idemili South LG, Dr Anselm C Onuorah, TC Chairman Anambra East LG, Former ASATU President Chief Alex I. Onukwue among others.
