Some leaders of political wards during the distribution exercise at the council’s headquarters, Uwani.

The Executive Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Hon. Caleb Ani, has distributed bags of rice and other items to the 13 wards in the LGA in celebration of the Christmas season.

Presenting the gifts in the presence of the PDP Chairman of the council, Hon. Freedom Nnam, Hon. Ani urged ward executives to ensure equitable sharing of the items.

He noted that, despite the tough economic times in Nigeria, it was essential to bring joy to everyone and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ together.

Responding, the PDP Chairman, Enugu South, Hon. Freedom Nnam, emphasized the importance of inclusivity in the distribution.

He added that the package was not limited to any specific group, but are intended for all residents, stating that Christmas is for everyone

He commended the council chairman for the gesture, describing it as an act of love and care.

He also extended Christmas greetings to Hon. Ani, acknowledging his efforts to bringing the festive spirit to all residents.
