The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has called off the planned maintenance power outage earlier scheduled to affect parts of Enugu from October 22 to 31, 2025.

In a statement on Thursday, the Head of Communications at MainPower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL), Mr. Emeka Ezeh, said the cancellation followed unforeseen technical constraints communicated by TCN.

He explained that the outage, initially slated to run daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., would have affected several 33KV feeders, including Kingsway Line 1 and Line 2, Emene Industrial Lines, Thinkers Corner, Trans-Ekulu, Ugwuogo, and Ituku Ozalla.

Ezeh assured customers that a new maintenance schedule would be announced once confirmed, while apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the sudden change.
