Soludo Inaugurates Anambra Varsity Governing Council

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Wednesday, inaugurated the Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU).

The five-member council has Professor Chidi Odinkalu as Pro-Chancellor/Chairman, while Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Chief Christopher Ndubuisi, HRH Oranu Chris Chidume, and AIG Chris Ezike (Rtd) would serve as members.

1. Prof. K.K. Nwozo
2. Prof. Angela Nwamuo
3. Prof. C.C Chukwueloka
4. Prof. Obi Emeka
5. Prof. Anselem Nweke

Congregation Representative to Council
1. Prof. M.N Chendo
2. Mrs. Eucharia Abafor

Soludo said the council was saddled with the responsibility of repositioning the university for greatness.

According to him, “they will also be saddled with the task of providing foresighted leadership for the institution. I am sure the men and women in this council will serve with utmost dignity, as they are a people with pedigree and impeccable professionalism.”
