Trent Alexander-Arnold will wear Real Madrid’s No.12 shirt at the Club World Cup and potentially beyond.

Alexander-Arnold has been forced to move on from the iconic no.66 shirt he wore at Liverpool.

The English defender will now take the No.12 shirt, as the rule in LaLiga stipulates that players must pick a shirt number between one and 25.

Los Blancos have now revealed their squad list and the official numbers ahead of the Club World Cup.

The No.12 shirt at the Bernabeu was made famous by Marcelo and most recently worn by Eduardo Camavinga.

Alexander-Arnold wore the 66 from the time he was a youth player at Liverpool until he left.

Now, he appears to have added the numbers together, although it is subject to change later in pre-season
