OMG!! Man Arrested For Setting Wife Ablaze After Dispute In Ogun State

A 55-year-old man named Olubunmi Johnson was arrested by the Ogun State police for allegedly setting his wife, Kikelomo, on fire.

The incident took place on Friday night around 8:30 pm in their home on Fagbuyi Street, Ilogbo, in the Ota area.

According to reports, the couple had a disagreement, after which Johnson reportedly poured petrol on Kikelomo and set her ablaze with a match.

Relatives of the victim alerted the police, and witnesses quickly rushed her to the hospital for treatment.

Ogun State Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed Johnson’s arrest and said an investigation into the attempted murder case is underway.
