Senator Ekwunife who met youths of the six villages in a separate meeting stated that her ambition is not personal but for the good of youths of Anambra, Nri Youths inclusive.

While receiving her at the Obeagu Village Hall, Ele Nri, Youth Chairman of Obeagu Village, Ejoor Egolum said though youths of the community belong to diverse political parties, they will work together to deliver Senator Uche especially in Nri.

Other youths who also spoke at the event said Senator Uche has been magnanimous since joining politics in 2007.

They stated that right from her days as Member representing Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency and later at the Senate where she represented Anambra Central, the former banker turned politician has attracted many projects to her constituency, built houses for widows, given scholarships and federal government employment to many and so she is already tested and trusted.

They added that though she is a deputy governor candidate to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, it won’t take away her capability to perform as her track record speaks for her.

Iyom Uche Ekwunife also met with several other groups where they assured her of their support.
