Nri President General hosts Ambassador Onyeagba, Hon Anyanwu (Details here)

The President General of Nri Kingdom, Chief(Dr)Kelvin Obiegbunam (Oba Ochendo) on Sunday received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba and the Chairman Governing Board, Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Hon. Chief Nduka Anyanwu at his home in Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The visit was in line with the President General’s vision to continue to identify with men and women of goodwill who have exemplified themselves in the society and foster relationships that will advance the cause of the people of the community.

Speaking during the visit, the President General congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador, His Excellency, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba PhD. He described his appointment as a result of his personal sacrifices and the goodwill he has established for himself as an outstanding young personality within and outside the State.

Chief Obiegbunam noted that achieving the ambassadorial feat at a young age, Amb. Onyeagba’s profile should be a motivation to the younger generation on the need to develop themselves and push for success.

He appreciated Ambassador Onyeagba and Chief Anyanwu for their warm visit and stated that as President General he is looking forward to tapping into the personal relationship he has with the duo to the benefit of Nri people.

He further wished the Ambassador well in his new position, and expressed confidence in his ability to use the position to advance the cause of the people of South East and Nigeria at large.
