National Sports Festival: 14-Year-Old JSS3 Student Wins Silver In Men’s Swimming

Fourteen-year-old Aidan Dumuje-Abili has won a silver medal in swimming at the ongoing 2024 National Sports Festival.

The Junior Secondary School 3 student from Grange School, Lagos, finished second in the men’s backstroke with a time of 1:04.15.

This marks Dumuje-Abili’s first senior-level medal. He previously claimed gold at the Dolphin Swimming League, National Youth Games, International School Sport Federation events, and the World School Games.

Team Ogun’s Kolade Otunla won gold with a time of 1:02.41, while Duke Enyekamime of Team Delta took bronze in 1:04.70.
