Mothering Sunday: Former HoR Aspirant Congratulates Wife, Mothers

The former House of Representatives aspirant, Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Christian Ezenwoke (Ochili Nise) has congratulated his wife, Mrs Ezenwoke and mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day celebration.

Mothering Sunday, also known as Mother’s Day is celebrated globally every fourth Sunday of the lent period.

In a statement on Sunday, March 30, in commemoration of the 2025 Mothering Sunday, Ezenwoke described mothers as compassionate, considerate noting that their rare virtues and actions have greatly blessed their families and institutions in the country.

He said that mothers virtues have helped the country adding, “when a mother of the family is peaceful and has the fear of God, you can go on to achieve great goals together without worrying about the home because it is in the hands of a good woman.”

He added that, he is grateful to Anambra and Nigerian mothers for living up to their roles as wonderful wives, who have helped to bring up their children in God’s way and urged all mothers to continue to be role models for the younger ones.
