Man Takes Own Life After Allegedly Discovering Wife’s Infidelity With Friends

A 38-year-old man, Gabriel Iliya Magaji, from Masaka in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has reportedly taken his own life after discovering his wife had been allegedly sleeping with his friends for money.

Magaji’s body was found hanging in a classroom at Crystal School, Masaka, on Monday morning.

The Nasarawa State Police, through their spokesperson DSP Nansel Ramhan, confirmed the incident, stating that police officers responded to a report and took the body to the General Hospital, where his death was confirmed.

Although no suicide note was found, investigations are ongoing.

A source close to the situation claimed Magaji ended his life after confronting his wife, who allegedly admitted to the infidelity, saying she used the money to provide for their family, including their three children.
