The Archbishop of Jesus Is Alive Church Worldwide, Dr Onyeka Nzekwesi, popularly known as Chinakaribeya, has paid glowing tributes to the late matriarch, Mrs Ezeude Monica Ogochukwu, describing her passing as a profound loss to her family and the wider community.
Archbishop Nzekwesi was among the dignitaries who attended the burial ceremony of the deceased, which took place at her hometown, Eziowelle, Anambra State, amid an outpouring of emotions and reverence.
Late Mrs Ogochukwu, née Orjiakor, passed on at the age of 65 after a brief illness. A professional nurse of repute, she was widely celebrated for her compassion, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to caring for others throughout her lifetime.
Speaking to journalists on the event, the cleric who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Pineleaf Estates described the death as a painful but sobering reminder of life’s transience.
He prayed fervently for God’s comfort upon the bereaved family, urging them to draw strength from faith and the enduring legacy of love left behind by the deceased.
Archbishop Nzekwesi further used the occasion to admonish Christians to live in alignment with biblical principles, stressing that purposeful living and obedience to the scriptures are essential to fulfilling one’s divine destiny.
According to him, the life of the late matriarch stands as a testimony of service, kindness, and godly values worthy of emulation.
“Her death is a deep loss, but her legacy speaks loudly. She lived for others, healed many, and served with humility. That is a life well spent,” he stated.
