Graphic: Lady crushed to death in Abraka, Delta state as reckless bike man attempts to overtake truck (See details)

Passersby were on Thursday left shocked following a ghastly auto accident involving a reckless bike man and an articulated truck in Abraka community of Delta State.

In a VN DELSUTV shared with Aprokorepublic, it was reported that the bike man attempted to overtake the truck on high speed, but ended up falling beneath and between its front and rear end tires.

While the he was able to react instantaneously and escaped unhurt, his passenger, a lady could not, and had her head crushed by the truck’s tires. Seeing the lifeless body of the woman underneath his truck, the driver attempted to make a dash for it, but was caught and taken to the Abraka police station.

The body of the woman was later evacuated to the Abraka General hospital and efforts have been made to contact her family.
