Gov. Mbah Inaugurates Gariki Bus Terminal Tomorrow

The people of Enugu South LGA are filled with joy so great it cannot be contained!

Today, our land dances, our hearts sing, and our voices rise in unison to celebrate this historic day. The brand-new modern Gariki Bus Terminal, a masterpiece of vision and development, stands proudly in our soil, brought to us by none other than our beloved Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah – the man whose leadership has turned dreams into reality.

From the early hours of the morning, drums have echoed across Obeagu, Ugwuaji, Amechi, Akwuke, and every corner of Enugu South. Smiles beam like the midday sun, the air is rich with music and cheer, and our streets are alive with colour and excitement. This is no ordinary day, this is a day when the blessings of leadership have touched us so deeply that even the walls of our homes seem to rejoice.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 14th, 2025, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah,
will launch the new Enugu State Transport Management System, roll out CNG buses and, right here in our land, the Gariki Bus Terminal – a landmark that will change the story of Enugu South forever. My people, this is a moment of renewed hope for us, it is more than a building; it is the heartbeat of a new booming economy.

As Chairman of Enugu South, my joy overflows! This project is not just infrastructure, it is the gateway to a new chapter of commerce and prosperity. I see traders whose goods will now reach every market with ease. I see farmers whose harvests will move faster and sell quicker. I see our youths, vibrant and strong, finding jobs and opportunities right here at home. This terminal will pump life into our economy every day, turning our LGA into a hub of business and growth.

Our chiefs, elders, and stakeholders are united in gratitude. Clad in their royal regalia, they welcome our Governor with the honour he truly deserves. They know this is a leader who delivers -a man of action, speed, and excellence. Governor Mbah, you have given us not just a project, but a legacy. You have brought order to our transport system, dignity to our traders, and pride to our people.

Your name will be spoken in our markets, sung in our celebrations, and remembered in the stories we tell our children.
