The Regent of ancient Nri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Regent Prince Ikenna Onyesoh (Idevuteaku) has cried to Chukwu Okike (Supreme God) and said ‘Ọzọemezina’ for what he described as an unforgettable moment in the history of the Igbo Nation.

The King who also doubles as the High Priest of Igbo Spirituality and custodian of Igbo tradition and customs, noted that between a space of 48 hours, Igbo Nation has lost two of their industrious and great leaders, saying that we are in a trying time.
The Igbo Monarch in a statement signed by his senior special assistant on new media, Comrade Udogadi Umendu, said “i joined friends, well wishers and sympathizers of the Iwuanyanwu family to mourn the death of an ICON the great Iroko of Igbo land Chief Engr Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
“Chief Iwuanyanwu was until his death the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, (The Pan Africa Social Political and Cultural Group that unites Ndigbo all over the world).
“A great man who has the interest of Ndigbo at heart, a lover of Peace and due Process”.
Also, the first class Igbo monarch described the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as the most shocking news this year, saying that the late senator is a man full of life.
According him, “Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was a man of all, he was revered by youths in Anambra and beyond, his empathy for humanity is second to non and a true representative of his people”.
He urged the bereaved families to be comforted by the life of purpose and impact the deceased lived while on earth and stated that their demise has once again reminded us about the emptiness and temporary nature of our existence here on earth.
“On behalf of my family and good people of ancient Nri Kingdom I express my deepest condolences to the family of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and Senator Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah.
“I pray that Chukwu Okike will grant us and the families the fortitude to bear these inconsolable and irreparable loss – he concluded”.
