The Enugu State Government has approved a 50 percent reduction in fees for the processing of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) and other land title documents.

According to a statement issued by the Managing Director of the Enugu State Geographic Information System Services (ENGIS), Mr. Chinwetalu Nwatu, the discount will run for 45 days beginning from October 15, 2025.

Nwatu explained that the initiative is aimed at encouraging property owners to regularize their land records, enhance transparency in land administration, and curb revenue leakages in the state.

He said property owners are advised to take advantage of the special window to process their land documents at the ENGIS office, located at Ebeano Estate, Independence Layout, Enugu.

The statement urged residents to spread the word and utilize the opportunity to secure their land titles at half the regular cost.
