Enugu Govt Begins Physical Verification of Workers Monday

The Enugu State Government is set to commence the physical verification of workers in the state.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, in a statement on, Monday, revealed that the physical verification exercise will commence on Monday, July 29th, 2024.

Physical Verification for Civil Servants, State Pensioners, Parastatals, and Tertiary Institutions Workers.

We are pleased to announce the commencement of the physical verification exercise for all state civil servants, state pensioners, parastatals and tertiary institution workers, starting Monday, July 29th, 2024.

Verification Venues:

State Civil Servants and Parastatals staff: State Secretariat, Enugu

PPSMB Staff and Pensioners:

Nsukka LGC for Enugu North Senatorial Zone

Udi LGC for Enugu West Senatorial Zone

Enugu South LGA for Enugu East Senatorial Zone.

Tertiary Institution Staff: Verified at their respective institutions.

Abuja and Lagos Liaison Staff: Virtual.

Diaspora Pensioners and Hospitalized Staff or Pensioner: Virtual.

The detailed schedule has been circulated to all MDAs through the Office of the Head of Service, Enugu State.

Required Documents for Verification (All Workers):

Please bring both the originals and photocopies of the following documents:

1. Identification letter from your School Principal, confirming the class you teach, stamped a nd signed (for PPSMB Staff)

2. Online verification printout.

3. Passport photograph.

4. Letter of first appointment.

5. Proof of date of birth (Baptismal Certificate required)

6. Confirmation of appointment letter.

7. Change of name letter (if applicable)

8. Gen. 35 (Notification of most recent promotion)

9. Proof of Change of Name (if any)

10. First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)

11. Highest qualification/certifications.

12. National Identification Card (NIN)

13. Any other relevant supporting documents.

Required Documents for Verification (Pensioners):

Please bring both the originals and photocopies of the following documents:

1. Pension Form.

2. Pension Authority.

3. National Identification Card (NIN)

Instructions for Pensioners Abroad or Hospitalized:
