The Enugu State Attorney General (AG) and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, has paid a courtesy visit to the State Chief Judge (CJ), Hon. Justice Afojulu Raymond Ozoemena.
The AG during the visit assured readiness of his office to work together with the judiciary to actualise the vision of Governor Peter Mbah to transform justice system in Enugu State.
The State Attorney General and his team also paid a courtesy visit on the President, Enugu State Customary Court of Appeal (CCA), Hon. Justice George Nnamani.
Speaking, Dr. Udeh stated that the Ministry of Justice under his leadership would partner with stakeholders in the justice sector to pursue the agenda of Dr. Peter Mbah in ensuring quick dispensation of justice.
The State chief law officer pledged to use his office to facilitate a productive and cordial working relationship between the Judiciary and the Executive, as the Governor pursues disruptive innovation for the good of Ndi Enugu.
The Attorney General promised that the State Ministry of Justice will work very closely with the CCA in the areas of codification of customary laws, legislative recognition and certification of customary marriages, law reporting and enhancing justice administration in the state.

Responding, the President Customary Court of Appeal, said the visit provided an opportunity to call the attention and secure the support of Governor Peter Mbah to suggested key reforms in the State customary law and justice, which will improve livelihood and revenue generation in Enugu State.
