— as Archbishop Ibezim eulogizes Ekwunife for her commitment to the growth of the Anglican Church
The Director General, South East Governors’ Forum, Uche Ekwunife, has handed over the reconstructed Staff Quarters of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Nri, to the Anglican Diocese of Awka.
The gesture was aimed to support the church and provide it with befitting quarters for the service of God.
Speaking during the rededication of the facility, Most Revd. Alexander Ibezim, Archbishop, Province of the Niger and Bishop, Anglican Diocese of Awka, lauded Ekwunife for investing in God’s vineyard, eulogizing her as a jewel of inestimable value.
Archbishop Ibezim noted that Ekwunife’s unwavering commitment to the growth of the Anglican Church and uncommon service to humanity should be emulated by all and sundry. The prelate prayed God to bless the senator with strong health and a continued platform as she continues to give back to the society.
In her speech, Ekwunife noted that living a life of service has been part of her lifestyle, reassuring that she is dedicated to the Nigerian project. She commended the Church for its effort in propagating the gospel across the country.
Ekwunife represented by Lady May Obiokoye, urged the Church to continue to pray and partner with the leaders for sustainability development tasked Nigerians irrespective of religion to imbibe the life of charity and selfless service.
