A wedding in Nigeria was reportedly called off due to a disagreement between the bride and groom’s families over church affiliation.

The bride, who is Catholic, wanted to continue attending her church after marriage, while her fiancé belonged to the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN).

The groom’s mother was reportedly unhappy with the bride’s decision, leading to the cancellation of the wedding.

In a social media post, the bride offered advice to singles, saying: “Date someone who handles conflict with maturity”.
