“President Bola Tinubu’s policies has reopen fiscal space which is addressing deep-rooted constraints that is key to reducing trade barriers, facilitating trade, increasing access to reliable power supply, and improving the business environment.

“The current low social and economic equilibrium has been switched to one marked by a better funded and more effective state that provides efficient public services, goods, and a conducive economic environment for the private sector to flourish and create more quality jobs for Nigerians.”Ani said.

On the amendment of the 1999 Constitution, Ani said that the current constitution review in Nigeria represented a significant opportunity to address long-standing challenges and strengthen the nation’s democratic institutions.

“The success of this process will depend on the extent to which it incorporates the voices and aspirations of all Nigerians and overcomes the procedural and political obstacles that have hindered previous attempts at constitutional reform.

“There’s a push for greater devolution of powers, potentially including the creation of state police and fiscal federalism reforms

“The review seeks to address the autonomy of local governments, which have historically been subject to state government control.

“President Tinubu has always fought to ensure that local governments are autonomous to ensure perfect service delivery to the grassroots,” he said.
