Anaocha LGA Needs a Visionary Leader Like Kevin Alike – Supporters Group

A group identified as Alike Likeminds, supporters of Kevin Alike, the Labour Party aspirant in the forthcoming local government election in Anambra State, have stated that Anaocha Council Area needs a visionary leader like him.

The group emphasized that when a community faces a critical decision, it requires leaders with strategic solutions. As Anaocha prepares to choose its next leader, they believe Kevin Alike is the visionary leader the local government deserves. Born into a humble family with strong moral values in Obeagu Village, Nri, Anaocha LGA, Kevin Alike completed his primary education at Udoka Primary School, Awka, and secondary education at St. Charles’ College, Onitsha. He went on to obtain a B.Sc. in Political Science from Madonna University, Okija, and served in the National Youth Service Corps in Delta State in 2016.

A devout Christian, married with children, Alike previously served as Vice President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), representing Anambra Central. Under his leadership, many youths were empowered with skills that have helped them excel in life.

Fondly called ‘Okenwa Anaocha,’ Alike is seen as a true embodiment of leadership and service. He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, chartered manager, and the CEO of Alyke Crystal Nig Ltd. His supporters believe that Alike is not only prepared to lead Anaocha as Chairman but is also equipped to utilize his extensive experience to achieve meaningful goals.

According to them, Alike has the contacts and connections necessary to mobilize resources and people to drive progress in Anaocha. An accomplished international businessman with vast knowledge across various industries, his leadership is expected to be marked by a forward-thinking approach that addresses both immediate needs and long-term goals, with a deep understanding of the local context and a commitment to participatory governance.

The group added that Alike is already working on a series of reforms aimed at revitalizing the local government. These reforms, which will soon be made public, will focus on infrastructural development, economic empowerment, welfare, and educational advancement to uplift communities in Anaocha LGA.

They revealed that his vision prioritizes the enhancement of infrastructure, including the repair and expansion of roads, improvement of healthcare facilities, and modernization of public utilities.
