A Resounding And Clarion Call for Loyalty, Unity, and the Future of PDP

The time is now. A time to rise above fear, doubt, and selfish ambition. A time to stand shoulder to shoulder and proclaim, not just with words but with action, our undying love for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). To say “I love PDP” is not enough our devotion must be proven in loyalty, in sacrifice, and in the courage to defend this great party no matter the storms that come our way.

Yes, some governors and leaders have walked away. They abandoned the party that gave them a name, not because of principle, but because of personal ambition and greed. They forgot the womb that birthed them. But let it be clear: their betrayal does not weaken us. For we in the PDP National Restoration Movement remain unshaken, resolute, and committed to restoring PDP’s unity and dignity.

And so today, at this Summit, we send forth a passionate appeal to the Governor of Enugu State:

His Excellency, Barrister (Dr.) Peter Ndubuisi Mbah

Your Excellency, do not be swayed by whispers of APC. Enugu is PDP. Since 1999, PDP has been our soul, our lifeblood, our identity. Do not allow fear of 2027 to push you towards a party that has brought only pain, corruption, and exploitation to Nigerians. You have performed well; the people of Enugu see it, they feel it, and they will stand by you when the time comes.

APC offers no assurance of victory. Their promises are empty, their loyalty transactional. They will never give you anything without chains attached. But in PDP, you have a foundation. You have history. You have the people. Strengthen your base, honor those who labored and sacrificed for the party, and you will reap loyalty tenfold. Recognize your faithful give them opportunities, however small. A hungry man is easy prey for the opposition, but a man remembered and empowered will fight for you until the end.

Do not let Enugu slip into APC’s hands. Do not let history record that under your watch, our stronghold fell. 2027 is bigger than just PDP versus APC. It is about the soul of Nigeria, about the people choosing whether they will continue in suffering or return to the path of hope.

We remind you, Your Excellency, that many of us risked reputation, staked integrity, and fought relentlessly for your victory. Even in Imilike ward, our principal, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, can attest to the sacrifices we made when LP’s Edoga came during the last election. We did not flinch. We did not bow. And we shall not now.

APC may boast of rigging, but they will fail in Enugu. Abuja cannot impose leaders on us not when your hands are clean and your works speak for you. We have seen it before. In Edo, I personally poured my resources and my heart into ensuring PDP’s success, not for money, not for personal gain, but for the cause of justice and truth. Even when misunderstood, my commitment never wavered. Because this movement is not for sale it is for the future of Nigeria.

And so, with one voice, we declare again:

Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, do not join APC. Remain PDP. Stand firm, and history will remember you as the Governor who kept Enugu as the fortress of PDP, the beacon of loyalty in Nigeria’s darkest times.

To all PDP faithful, we say: join us in this Summit of destiny. Together, let us renew our strength, rebuild our unity, and ignite once more the fire of PDP across Enugu and Nigeria.
