Late Mrs. Ezinne Theresa Adimonye Oraeto-Igboaka, affectionately known as “City Madam,” was laid to rest last week, drawing family members, friends, business associates, and faith leaders to a solemn yet dignified burial ceremony that celebrated a life anchored on love, prayer, and quiet strength.

Mrs. Oraeto-Igboaka, wife of Rivers State billionaire magnate Sir Igboaka, was widely described as a woman of deep faith and uncommon loyalty; one whose influence was felt more through character than public display.

Her passing marked the end of a profound companionship and the loss of a stabilising force within her family.

Speaking to journalists during the funeral rites, a grief-stricken Sir Igboaka delivered an emotional tribute that resonated deeply with mourners. He described his late wife not only as a spouse but as his closest ally.

“She was my friend, my prayer warrior, and my confidant,” he said. “The pain is quite overwhelming. Despite every measure we took, she still passed on.”

Despite the weight of loss, Sir Igboaka anchored his words in faith, expressing firm belief in eternal rest and divine purpose.

“I believe she is in a better place, resting in the bosom of the Lord,” he added.

Beyond her role as a devoted wife, Mrs. Oraeto-Igboaka was remembered as a compassionate woman who upheld family values, encouraged prayer, and offered quiet support to many within and beyond her immediate circle.

Clergy present at the burial described her as a woman whose life reflected service, humility, and steadfast belief.

The burial ceremony, marked by hymns, prayers, and tributes, served not only as a moment of mourning but also as a celebration of a fulfilled life, one defined by faith, friendship, and unwavering commitment to family.
