The induction ceremony, which took place at Wizy Hyatt Hotel, Upper Chime, New Haven, Enugu, featured the conferment of Fellowship, Membership, and Associate status on deserving professionals across the country.

The event was presided over by the Institute’s Registrar and Chief Executive, Dr. Uche Okereke (FCPA, FCEA, JP), and attended by prominent personalities including Prof. Emma Chukwuemeka (FCPA) of the Department of Public Administration, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Mr. Sunny Ozuomba (FCPA), the State Coordinator of the Institute.

Among the ten new Fellows were Dr. Ani; DSP Sani, DPO, Uwani Police Station; Dr. Eze Chukwukadibia, Deputy Director, Administration, Enugu South LGA; Dr. Obiora Ogbodo, Head of Personnel Management, Enugu South Central Development Centre; and Dr. Uche Agubata, among others. Seventeen others were inducted as Members and Associates.

In his address, Dr. Okereke explained that CILGPAN was established by Act No. 1 of 2017, signed into law by former President Muhammadu Buhari on January 24, 2018, to promote excellence, professionalism, and ethical standards in local government and public administration across Nigeria.

He urged the inductees to remain committed to integrity, accountability, and service delivery, warning that the Institute reserves the right to withdraw certificates from any member found guilty of corruption or misconduct.
