A political support group, Tomorrow Is Here Movement (THM), has vowed to ensure the re-election of Governor Peter Mbah in 2027 to enable him complete second term in office.
The THM State Chairman, Mr. Anthony Okonkwo, stated this during the inauguration of its Co-ordinators in Enugu-East senatorial zone in Enugu.

Okonkwo said Governor Mbah’s outstanding performance in the last two years is historic and unprecedented, noting that they will sensitise the people on his numerous achievements.
While stressing that the movement as a serious group that mirrors the governor’s good works, Okonkwo enjoined the governor not to be distracted by those he referred as failed politicians.
He commended the governor for reviving the Hotel Presidential, the International Conference Centre (ICC), the Niger Gas and other moribund industries in the state.
According to him, those have not only restored the glory of Enugu as the capital of the old Eastern region but has equally repositioned it for economic activities, this changed the narrative that Enugu is a civil servant state.
He, then, charged the newly inaugurated coordinators to mobilize across political parties and communities to sustain the momentum for Mbah’s return in 2027 to enable him continue the good work of the administration.
Also, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Ezenta Ezeani, applauded the governor for setting a new benchmark for leadership in Nigeria.
While revealing that Enugu has become a reference point for good governance, the deputy speaker hinted that Mbah’s achievements in two years are being compared with those who spent eight years in power.
“People are amazed at his speed and quality of delivery. Yet, the governor insists that the best is yet to come.
“I urged members of the movement to see themselves as missionaries of continuity.
‘In fact, Mbah’s performance has already simplified your mobilisation task,” he added.
For his part, the Enugu East Council Chairman, Engr. Beloved-Dan Anike, said he aligned with the governor’s disruptive and visionary leadership model.
He praised the movement for its foresight and reiterated his council’s readiness to complement the governor’s agenda.
Speaking on behalf of others, the THM Co-ordinators in Enugu East Zone, Alh. Sani Nnaji, disclosed that the Movement wants Mbah to consolidate the ongoing transformation by ensuring his re-election.
“Governor Mbah has shown that nothing is impossible for leaders who are truly committed to service.
