Alabo Big Tom Harry Bags Historic Humanitarian Honour for Legacy Driven Leadership

In a historic moment in Rivers State, Alabo Daso Big Tom Odigbo Harry, secretary of the Ugboma Council of Chiefs, has been honoured with the prestigious Rainbow Medal for Humanitarian Service being the first of its kind in the state.

The award was presented by the Forum of Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria, recognising his unwavering commitment to community empowerment, peacebuilding, and grassroots development.

Alabo Big Tom Harry, a towering figure in traditional leadership and civic engagement was described as “a beacon of hope, progress, and selfless service.”

According to the body, their decision to honour him was a result of meticulous evaluation of impact and service delivery.

Receiving the award in a colourful ceremony held in Port Harcourt, the visibly elated leader expressed deep appreciation:
