The Enugu State Police Command says comprehensive security arrangements have been finalised to give adequate security to lawyers from the 36 states of the federation expected in the state for the 2025 Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) scheduled to hold on the 25th to 29th of this month.

The Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr Mamman Bitrus Giwa, made the disclosure at the end of a meeting with heads of other security agencies in the State, held at the Command Headquarters, Enugu.

Mr. Giwa emphasized synergy and inter-agency collaboration to ensure the safety of participants and the public throughout the conference.

“The deliberations culminated in the adoption of a massive, intelligence-driven, proactive, and collaborative deployment of personnel and resources across the State.”
