The Executive Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area, Hon. Caleb Ani, has extended his warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in the council area, Enugu State, and across Nigeria as they mark this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
In a goodwill message, Ani described the Islamic festival as a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to God, urging Muslims to draw inspiration from the exemplary faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim.
“Eid-ul-Adha” is a celebration of faith, obedience, and sacrifice. It reminds us of the importance of humility, devotion to God, and love for one another,” the council chairman said.
He called on residents of Enugu South LGA and Nigerians at large to embrace the spirit of unity, peace, and compassion, stressing that these values are central to the Eid celebration and crucial to national progress.
“As we mark this special occasion, let us continue to live in harmony with one another, irrespective of religion or background. Let us also remember to pray for our leaders, our communities, and our dear country Nigeria — that we may continue to experience progress, justice, and prosperity,” he added.
Hon. Ani, on behalf of the government and good people of Enugu South local government wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyful celebration.
