Rt. Hon. Caleb Ani, Chairman, Enugu South LGA, Saturday, received the body of the former Transition Chairman of the Council, Hon. Chief Charles Nwabueze.
Chief Nwabueze hailed from Umunnukwu family in Amechi Uwani Community, Enugu South Council Area.
He served his community in different capacity and Enugu South as Transition Chairman between 2002 and 2003.
At a valedictory session, the council chairman, Rt. Hon. Caleb Ani, represented by his Deputy, Hon. Anthony Egbo, while receiving the remains of the late former Transition Chairman, Nwabueze accompanied by his family, friends and associates at the council’s headquarters, Uwani, thanked God for the life of the deceased.

He prayed for God’s guidance and protection upon his immediate family.
Ani equally thanked the family and friends for their commitment in ensuring that the late transition council chairman received a befitting burial.
Describing him as a trailblazer, a true family man, community leader who served his people with dedication, the LG boss urged his children to follow the footsteps of their father.

Other principal officers of the council present at the event includes the Council Secretary, Hon. Barr. Kenneth Nnyammah, SPA on Political Matters, Hon. Chijioke Agbo and many others.
