Easter: Enugu South Council Chairman Greets Christians, Preaches Love

The Enugu South Local Government Chairman, Hon. Caleb Ani, has called on Christians to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which signified his love for humanity.

Hon. Ani who made the call in a goodwill message to mark the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, charged Christians to emulate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind and for the betterment of the society.

He urged the people of Enugu South Local Government Area and the State as a whole to continue to pray for the success of the government of His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah, in his bid to take the state to the greater heights.

He said, “My dear people of Enugu South, as we celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I join the faithful around the world to proclaim: Hallelujah! Christ is Risen!

“This sacred season inspires us to reflect on God’s boundless love, the triumph of light over darkness, and the promise of new beginnings. May the joy of Easter fill our hearts with renewed hope, peace, and unwavering faith in God’s divine plan for our lives.

“On behalf of the wonderful people of Enugu South Local Government Area, I extend my warmest Easter wishes to you and your loved ones. May this season bring abundant blessings, prosperity, and a spirit of unity within our various wards and communities. Let us embrace this time to strengthen our bonds and support one another as we move forward together.he said.
