The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to take over the governance of Anambra state in the upcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election.

The National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, made the declaration over the weekend during the commissioning of the new APC State Secretariat in Awka.

Ganduje said the party, which has grown in leaps and bounds in the state, is repositioned and poised to sack the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

According to him, Anambra as a critical part of the Nigerian project, cannot continue to remain in the opposition, if the Igbos are to be positioned to claim the dividends of being Nigerians.

He charged the party members and stakeholders, including governorship aspirants to be united and remain focused towards achieving the goal of winning the November 8 Anambra governorship election.

The event which attracted members of the National Working Committee of the APC and prominent members of the party in the state was an opportunity to recognise the efforts of one of the governorship aspirants, Sir Paul Chukwuma in the rebuilding and re-energisation of the party in the state.

The APC national chairman and co-aspirants in the forthcoming Anambra state governorship election commended Chukwuma for his commitment and contributions to the development of the party in the state.

The new Anambra APC office, located opposite the State Government House, was single-handedly rented and equipped by Chukwuma.

Meanwhile, aspirants of the party used the opportunity of the inauguration to show strength, as they mobilised their supporters to the event in large numbers.
